My Story
Colorado has been home since my family moved here when I was young, however, my Midwest roots run deep. I attended Jeffco Public Schools, graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder, and later earned my master's degree and teaching license from Regis University.
I'm the proud mom of two amazing boys, Mason (11) and Bode (9). Outside of school, you'll usually find us at flag football or lacrosse games, skiing, hiking, reading, or spending time with family in Wisconsin.
My passion for education began after a trip to Gulfport, Mississippi, with TOMS Shoes, where I worked with students impacted by Hurricane Katrina. Since then, I've spent most of my career teaching grades 3–7 in Jeffco Public Schools, where I discovered that strong relationships are the heart of a thriving school community.
After 13 years in the classroom, I stepped into educational leadership in 2023. Today, I am incredibly grateful to serve as the principal of Stony Creek Elementary. I can't wait to write this next chapter with our students, staff, and families as we learn, grow, and thrive together.
